Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) is a university of action and passion, small enough that every student is essential but large enough to make real differences when we tackle global challenges. CUE’s outstanding faculty teach undergraduate degrees in arts, science and management, along with after degrees in education and environmental health, graduate certificates and diplomas, masters’ degrees, and a doctorate in clinical psychology. Because of our small size, we are able to offer experiences and opportunities students wouldn’t get at a larger institution, such as research with a professor during their undergraduate studies. Our ultimate goal has not changed since 1921: to be more than students and professors, to create a community of active citizens, to inspire good and honourable people who have found a university where they belong. For more than 100 years, students have come together through a shared belief, despite varied interests, fascinations and programs of study – resulting in CUE having a unique culture. We blend and mix in surprising – sometimes delightful – ways. If we’re scientists, we can follow our curiosity into drama. A business student can graduate with a foundation in history, philosophy, and Indigenous knowledge. While the campus community mostly consists of students from the Edmonton capital region and rural Alberta, including Indigenous learners, CUE welcomes students from all Canadian provinces and territories and more than 35 different countries from around the world.
